What It Does

Open an .ics attachment from Mail, cloud storage, or another app, then choose this shortcut from the Share Sheet to add the event directly to iOS Calendar instead of moving it to a computer first.

How to Use

  1. Install the shortcut with the button above.
  2. Open Apple Shortcuts and review the actions and permissions.
  3. Run it manually, from Siri, Share Sheet, or an automation when supported.

Permissions & Data Flow

Permissions: File access, Calendar access. Data flow: Only write ICS to the calendar locally and do not upload it.
